In addition to our hemp based products we also make other formulations. This reflects Jerry’s background practing acupuncture, massage, and herbology back in the '70s and '80s and Rhiannon’s experience as a trained aesthetician.

Historically Jerry’s small batch creations found their way into Christmas stockings for friends and family. This tradition started with an herbal mouthwash. Never sold, shared freely. (Which reminds me, I need to start making this again.)

From there he started doing botanically infused vodka with citrus peels, fruits, and other plants. Yes, even fresh frozen hemp flower using a stainless steel whipped cream dispenser with the goal of stripping terpenes, anthrocyanins, and flavinoids. Stunts like these got me in Cannabis Cocktails, Mocktails & Tonics: The Art of Spirited Drinks & Buzz-Worthy Libations, Warren Bobrow.

My first deliberate therapeutic bitters was Tumeric Bitters. The goal was an adaptogen centric formulation as a general tonic. The addition of black pepper and ginger compliment the curcurin in the turmeric, dandelion root & burdock root are the foundation, and Mineola tangerine is not only a complimentary bittering agent but it adds a orange stained glass glow to the concoction. A boost to one’s auto immune system.

With botanical bitters behind me I turned my attention to propolis, that magical thing that bees make. Reflecting my love of trees and gin, I gathered fresh Spruce tips in the Spring and add dried juniper berries. Bonus: each batch reflects the propolis I use and that all depends on where the hives are and what the bees collect. Many of us enjoy a squirt of Bees & Trees in a small glass of water or juice before retiring. 2 dropperfuls PO QHS

Bitters, like herbal mouthwash, are seasonal small batch offerings. I never seem to make enough so if something catches your eye, better grab it before it’s all gone.
